The civil engineering industry in the United Kingdom has grown by almost a fifth in the last year! Research has shown that this growth has taken place across the country, equating to very positive things for the economy.
It is documented that at the end of 2014, there were 159,000 people working in the civil engineering sector. That was an increase of 17.7% which amounts to an additional 135,000 people from the year of 2013. This is actually the fastest increase in employees that the civil engineering sector has experienced in the last five years.
